Teaching has always felt natural to me not simply as a profession, but as a way of connecting with others. Over the years, I have taught English and French to children, teenagers, and adults in language institutes, universities, and private settings. This wide range of experiences has helped me understand that teaching is not one-size-fits-all; it is a dynamic process that requires sensitivity, creativity, and genuine attention to each learner.
What I enjoy most about teaching is building a supportive learning environment where students feel confident to speak, make mistakes, and grow. I believe learning happens best when students feel seen and encouraged, so I focus on clear explanations, practical examples, and interactive activities that make language feel alive and usable. Whether I am teaching grammar, conversation, or writing, I always try to adapt my methods to students’ goals, personalities, and cultural backgrounds.
Over time, I realized that teaching truly is “my thing.” I feel most engaged and fulfilled when I am explaining a concept, guiding a student through a difficulty, or witnessing the moment they gain confidence in their abilities. Teaching allows me to combine my academic background, creativity, and communication skills in a meaningful way and it is this combination that continues to motivate me to grow as an educator.
